HOW WE SEE THINGS

OUR STORY

A statement about something you strongly believe in.

I believe the most meaningful moments of a wedding aren’t always the big ones that everyone sees.

They’re the quiet glances, the laughter between friends, the tear a parent quickly wipes away.
My goal is to notice those moments and preserve them, so long after the day is over, you can experience them again.

However, if you’d like any direction from me, I’d be delighted to guide you while still capturing the genuine, in-between moments that make the day feel real. Feel free to watch the video below to see a little of how I guide couples during a session

01.

WHERE IT STARTED

THE ORIGIN STORY

My journey into photography began with simple porch photoshoots, experimenting with light and moments in the spaces I had. That curiosity grew into garage sessions and learning more about how to capture people and connection.

Those early sessions taught me that photography isn’t just about pictures, it’s about preserving connection, emotion, and the moments people want to remember for a lifetime.

02.

WHEN IT ALL CAME TOGETHER

As I continued photographing people, I began to notice something special in the moments they shared, the laughter, the quiet glances, and the emotions that happen naturally between people who care about each other.

When I started photographing weddings, everything came together. Weddings are filled with genuine moments, connection, and stories unfolding throughout the day. That’s when I realized this was the kind of photography I truly loved.

We deliver your images

South Asian Weddings

South Asian weddings are vibrant, emotional, and beautifully layered with traditions that unfold over several days. From the joyful chaos of the baraat to the quiet moments during the ceremony, every part of the celebration carries meaning.

I approach these weddings with an understanding that the story is bigger than just the couple, it’s about families, traditions, colours, music, and the energy of everyone celebrating together. My focus is on capturing those moments as they naturally happen so that when you look back at your photos, you remember not just how the day looked, but how it felt.

Shehnila is Amazing! She is professional and kind, and she cares about her clients. She took my professional headshots and I am very happy with the different shots she took. I highly recommend her services!
